The OTHM Level 3 Foundation Diploma in Engineering is equivalent to the AS/ A Levels which gives student an entry into undergraduate degree programs in the universities.
This Level 3 Foundation Diploma is a world-wide recognised fast-track international qualification which is the ideal choice for high school leavers who are looking forward to progress towards the undergraduate degree by developing the research and analytical skills in a shorter duration rather to remain in the traditional longer education system.
The OTHM Level 3 Foundation Diploma in Engineering has been developed to allow learners to gain understanding and knowledge across a range of Engineering practices.
The qualification enables learners to develop essential knowledge in areas such as engineering principles, design technology, electricity, mechanics, statistics and mathematics.
Successful completion of this qualification will prepare learners for employment in the engineering sector or further learning.
The OTHM Level 3 Foundation Diploma in Engineering consists of 6 mandatory units for a combined total of 60 credits:

This course is assessed through 100% coursework with a range of methods, such as essays, research reports, presentations, group work and practical reports.
