This online Msc (Accounting and Finance) would be awarded by the University of Chichester, delivered by London Graduate School and offered by CGL. This Msc Accounting and Finance aims to extend and enhance the understanding and competence gained via professional qualifications or the industry experience and to enhance the ability of students to think strategically about management and organisational change within accounting and finance.
This programme will broaden your specialist knowledge previously gained at a professional level. In particular the module you will study at the final stage. ‘Accounting & Finance research project’ guides you to research into the key challenges accounting and finance professionals face in the industry. This programme aims to equip accounting and finance professionals with the necessary skills to undertake independent project work within business context. The Research Methods element provides you with an introduction to research, types of research methodology, formulating and planning a research project, data collection, analysis and presentation of research findings based upon an actual industry specific or corporate focused topic. Throughout the course, you will develop skills and study areas valued and needed by the industry.
MSc (Accounting and Finance) awarded by the University of Chichester is fully recognised in Canada as Master’s degree similar to a degree completed from a Canadian university. University of Chichester is an approved university with the World Education Services (WES); and all its degrees are duly recognised by all the evaluating bodies in Canada including IQAS and ICES.
This MSc (Accounting and Finance) consist of two stages with 180 UK credits.
To achieve this MSc, you need to complete 120 credits at Stage 1, and 60 credits at Stage 2 by completing a dissertation under the supervision of the University of Chichester and London Graduate School’s faculty, totalling 180 credits.
You need to submit a Consultancy Project report or a Dissertation of 12000 words, at stage 2, to University of Chichester and you will be qualified for the above award on passing this module. However, you will be provided with an interactive support from the university including:
“Moodle” is the Learning Management (LMS) provided by CGL to study Stage 1 of this qualification where we provide you with the key reading and research resources via ON-DEMAND LEARNING, and you can learn conveniently by managing your own class schedule in your busy routine.
This course is assessed through 100% coursework with a range of methods, such as essays, research reports, presentations, group work and practical reports.
